Starting a business to promote a healthier lifestyle wasn't just a professional decision; it was a deeply personal journey for me. After losing my mom at 50 and facing my own health struggles, I knew I needed to make a change—not just for myself but for my family.
In 2014 I was 32 and weighed 348 pounds when my mom passed away. This loss sparked a determination to not only transform my own health but also to create a space where others could do the same. After losing 187 pound and inspiring so many to take control of their health my purpose became clear. So on November 4, 2019, I opened the doors at Xtreme Fitness & Nutrition Studio with just 5 members, and by 2021, we expanded to include a nutrition cafe. Despite the challenges of COVID just months after opening our doors, our community grew stronger, supporting each other in achieving our health goals. Now 5 years later and at nearly 100 members we continue to help families in our community to become healthier together.
My journey is far from over, but each step forward is a testament to the power of community and the importance of prioritizing health. I hope my story inspires others to take that first step towards a healthier life.
